Non Inclusive Charges
SUMMARY OF SERVICES AS STANDARD, INCLUDED IN BASE PRICE
- Beds and bedding and towels for the pre-determined 'ideal' number of occupants in a given apartment.
- Unlimited and free broadband internet access and local telephone calls, plus incoming calls (not reverse charges)
- Seamless check-out with in-apartment keydrop; no need for lengthy checkout procedures.
- Local information, maps, access to guides and babysitting service recommendations, etc.
- Everything as listed in the lengthy bullet-pointed inventory against each individual apartment.
- NOTE: PREPAID BOOKINGS BENEFIT FROM THE LOW PRICES LISTED AGAINST PROPERTIES but it is possible to PAY-AT-CHECKIN in all available apartments.
- CREDIT CARDS when used for holding or security deposit are not subject to any surcharge when applied to any aspect of the deposit guarantee.
CANCELLATION POLICY AND FEES
- All cancellations carry a 5% penalty fee to cover admin costs.
- In all cases of cancelled bookings we do our utmost to find alternative guests to cover the dates. If this is successful then we offer a 90% refund per day rented, even if you cancellation was made less than 24 hours before your due arrival date. The longer notice we are given, of course, the more likely we are to find alternate guests.
- Cancellations with over four weeks notice: full refund.
- Cancellations with three to four weeks notice: 75% refund.
- Cancellations with two to three weeks notice: 50% refund.
- Cancellations with just one to two weeks notice: 25% refund.
- If your due-date is within a week or less, no refund is given other than under above circumstances.
LIST OF EXTRA FEES AND CHARGES NOT INCLUDED IN BASE PRICE
- E30 standard cleaning fee per apartment.

E10 per night per adult beyond the maximum ideal occupancy numbers for an apartment.
- Check-in after 8pm: 20 euros.
- Check-in after 11pm: 40 euros.
- Late arrival (more than an hour) before 6pm without contact: 25 euros
- Late arrival (more than an hour) after 11pm without contact: 50 euros
- Formally lodged (with authorities/building management) noise complaints due to behaviour of guests: 100 euros.
- Failure to fulfil contact arrangements made for check-in notifications (if applicable): 15 euros.
- Late check-out incurs an E10 per hour excess fee.
- Excessive mess not covered by cleaning fee at E20 per hour extra-clean.
- Keys locked in apartment without prior arrangement, requiring callout of locksmith: 100 euros or locksmith equivalent.
- Keys locked in apartment requiring staff callout between 9am and 8pm: 40 euros.
- Keys locked in apartment requiring staff callout before 9am or after 8pm: 80 euros
- Lost key charge: 20 euros plus any third-party handling/processing fees.
- Technical support in matters that do not involve Berlin Apartments responsibilities or equipment: 50 euros initial callout then 25 euros per hour.
- CREDIT CARD payments for rent (as opposed to holding or security deposit) are subject to a mandatory 5% surcharge.
- BANK to BANK transfer from non UK pounds or Euros currencies subject to an E30 additional fee due to local bank rates.
