We have selected each and every vacation apartment with an eye for detail that will guarantee you get the most of your time in Berlin. All holiday apartments must check the following criteria before we bring them into our portfolio:

  • central location within the Golden Triangle of Mitte
  • sleeping quarters in a noise-free environment available
  • buildings of recent full renovation or newbuild quality
  • fixtures and fittings always of sufficiently high standard
  • under five minutes by foot to closest U-Bahn or S-Bahn
  • avoid high floor walk-ups (elevator buildings or low floor only)
  • sufficient space to sleep advertised numbers WITHOUT reduced conditions
  • covered housing for bicycles
  • easy access to free-of-charge 24/7 full laundry facilities
  • 10% reduction ACROSS THE BOARD for prepaid bookings

Refurbished bathrooms and kitchens are the norm. Flexible bedding arrangements due to our stock of beds (including cots) and furnishings allow us to organise an apartment precisely to your party's unique needs. Recognising the twofold importance of being in touch with home and making the most of your perhaps limited time in the German capital we provide high speed broadband internet and telephones with free nationwide calls as standard, in addition to offering (subject to availability from local telecom provider - generally the reliable Deutsche Telekom) free cellphones for guests capable of calling one another and home apartment without charge (and receiving incoming calls free) so families need never worry about being separated or incurring hefty international phone fees. We can provide itineraries to fulfil even the most exacting visitor's requirements with inside knowledge of the city that will give you an insight impossible for the average tourist. We have personally tested all recommendations and continue to do so, to ensure up-to-date information. You will have a local contact (English-speaking) available twenty four hours a day if need arises, in addition to benefitting from French, German, Russian and Spanish speakers to supplement the 24/7 contact's capacity to offer assistance.

Kleine Hamburger Balcony

apartment image With a superb balcony overlooking the mature trees of Torstrasse, on the exclusive Kleine Hamburger Strasse at the centre of the 'golden triangle' neighbourhood, this woodfloor vacation apartment in a 2007 renovated altbau is spacious, sun-filled and immaculately furnished. Able to sleep four comfortably and six using rollaways, benefiting from an elevator and free laundry facilities in-house, this is one of our most popular and pleasant rental accommodations. After its first year in our portfolio we already find a quarter of bookings are repeat guests; what better recommendation could we hope for.

Linien Grande

apartment image By sheer floorspace this is the largest of our Berlin apartments, with its 14ft ceilings edged with 'belle epoque' carved coving and original but fully restored wood floors it is also our most aristocratic in situation. Designer furnishings, space a-plenty in every room, south-facing allday sunshine and private gardens a riot of colour from spring thru autumn make this a popular choice for larger families and groups. Its location, on Linienstrasse, can't be bettered and it is able to sleep eight in comfort without resorting to converting couches. Its kitchen boasts two microwaves, dishwasher; all the food prep equipment of the semi-pro, and the marble bathroom has separate walk-in shower and 7ft bathtub. In short, the perfect city residence.

Linien Quietude

apartment image Standing alongside the recently reopened St Adalbert's Church and benefitting from its evening chorus of bells, this apartment on quiet Linienstrasse is perfect for families or groups requiring more than one dedicated bedroom. Indeed its second bedroom is also nestled at the back of the building, quiet at all hours, though the whole place benefits from the street outside being a designated bicycle-priority, no-thru route; so no traffic problems. Leather couches, separate dining area, striking designer kitchen and an elevator building all conspire to make this one of our most popular accommodations. Sleeps four as standard, six in relative ease without the need for the daily adjustment of couches.

Kleine Rosenthaler Canopy

apartment image With a spacious balcony slung in the treetops of the neighbouring green, this second floor residence boasts many qualities which other apartments would consider their finest. It is superbly located between multiple U-Bahn stations Weinmeisterstrasse, Hackerscher Markt and Rosenthaler Platz, and sufficiently tucked away from the bustle of the main thoroughfares. Its master bedroom overlooks the select street of Kleine Rosenthaler, around which a gorgeous community of local delis, bakeries and restaurants have clustered. Its second bedroom, with built-in Venetian shutters to allow all or no light into the room, offers the ultimate sleeping experience, for it is ensconsed within the flat's quietest parts. Between the sizeable kitchen area with space for dining and the living room opposite the corridor, it is a luxuriant, relaxing environment capable of entertaining both family and friends with ease. Its crowning feature, though, is a grand balcony overlooking the historical cemetery green, nestled in a firmament of hundreds year-old trees. With all of the modern conveniences of other flats and the choice location of Kleine Rosenthaler Canopy, one has the ideal place to duck out into the grandeur of Berlin or duck back into a spacious apartment flooded with light, emerald green and daytime bird-song.

Kleine Hamburger Courtyard

apartment image On the second floor of a sympathetically renovated traditional East Berlin apartment building this apartment enjoys the lofty proportions synonymous with this period of Berlin's architectural expansion. Its ceilings are high, its rooms generous in size, yet the quality of the refurbishment from what must have been dilapidation following the fall of the Wall in the early 90s remains impressive. All modcons are found here, separate shower and bath (with shower attachment), washing machine in-house, kitchen with plenty of food preparation space, living room with seating for eight and still room for a workdesk and entertainment system with DVD display. Bedding is highest quality only (duckdown quilts, for instance) and the queensize mattress is ergonomically designed to be as gentle as possible while you slumber. Benefitting from the same private courtyard gardens as 'Apartment Two', this is also an extremely popular accommodation, particularly with repeat guests who quickly grow accustomed to its pleasant, agreeable ambience.

Oranienburger Economy Sleeper

apartment image In this, the most economical of our vacation rentals, the guests benefit from the best of both worlds. It is located steps from Oranienburger Tor U-Bahn, surrounded by restaurants, delis, shopping and things-to-do (Bertold Brecht's house is 100 metres near) in addition to an intersection of four tram and bus lines; but the apartment itself is hinterhaus, at the rear of the private courtyards that denominate the section of its large corner altbau. Thus, when at home, there is nothing to disturb a peaceful repose, but place feet beyond the threshold of the front gate-doorway and find yourself in one of the most central, user-friendly situations in the city. Layout is designed to maximise utility and it is perfect for groups or larger families - the master bedroom alone sleeps six, all on permanent beds. With cost divided among a group of four to six, the nightly price beats anything found under the hotel/hostel umbrella; small wonder it is our most popular residence for guests on a slightly more challenging budget.

Cityview Hackescher Markt

apartment image Set in a lofty position on the seventh floor of a newly built glass-facade building right on Hackescher Markt itself, this roomy apartment enjoys unobstructed panoramic views over the whole of Berlin. If convenience is important then there can be no better situation - steps from the front door are a myriad of restaurants, cafes, bars, nightspots, cultural venues, theatres, cinemas; the list goes on. Hackesher Markt is the epicentre of the East Berlin rejuvenation now almost two decades old, the nexus of the most cosmopolitan, diverse and exciting neighbourhood in Germany. Despite all that's just outside your door, however, this vacation apartment has its sleeping facilities at the rear - away from the streetside, looking out over a private courtyard and thus completely quiet even at the busiest times of day. Truly the best of both worlds.
